Hi, I'm Josh, the bass player. I was born in San Jose California but soon moved to El Dorado County, between Sacramento and Tahoe. I grew up playing sports, but then in sixth grade I got an electric guitar for Christmas. This changed my life. From then on all I did was make up songs. I didn't want to be the best guitarist on the street, I just wanted to make my own songs, and that I did. I've been in numerous bands that have gone nowhere. When Matt and I met in our Freshman year we knew we were going to make an All Star band with an All Star line up. This wouldn't come quick. We were in a Metal band, then a pop punk band. We found Jason in the metal band, though Matt knew him from past schooling. I had another pop punk band called No Action that Alex was in, so we took Alex and Jason and made them the Dynamic Duo. When we played together we knew somthing was brilliant. We played together for a couple of months then decided to proceed and find the missing link. We needed a kick butt singer. We tried out about 10 people and almost gave up. Then one night we heard this guy named Kurt sing'n at the coffee house and decided to get to know him better. He had some other bands that he was in so we didn't ask him to try out. Then one day he asked about the band and wanted to sing for us, the link was found!
My inspirations are: The I in Team, Children of Bottom, Ent, The Cure, U2, Rufio, Thursday, Poison the Well, The Get Up Kids, Reggie and the Full Effect, The Juliana Theory, Queen, Dashboard Confessional, Radiohead, Deftones, Slick Shoes, MxPx, Saves the Day, and many other bands that I can't think of right now. My favorite movie is Dumb&Dumber. I love "real people"! That would be all of my friends. I love this band and love all the people that love it! I'm to tired to write anymore, this took me a couple of hours because I'm such a slow typer.
Two quotes: "Your imperfections are what make you beutiful" and "The Pleasure of love lasts but a moment, The Pain of Love last a Lifetime".
Love you All, Hasta Luego!,
