Well, apparently people still visit this site occasionally. Stop it. Go to the official Five Minute Ride website. I no longer make the website for Five Minute Ride, and this site is therefore officially dead. The band is still quite alive... err... four fifths alive. Alex died recently, something which saddened everyone quite a bit. Nevertheless, FMR released its first album, Bathroom Walls.....Lipstick Secrets, recently so feel free to go buy it. Don't blame me if you feel obligated to, I put some subliminal messages in here to make you do so! BUY IT! Six dollars isn't much...

No go for Greg's site. I know noone has been here in a while, but thats fine. Kevin Mcintosh is going to make another new one. Please make yours last dude, I hate having a stupid Freeservers site being the only one that ever stays up! Anyway.... I dunno. Have fun and don't give up, cuz if I have to make a site for them it'll likely be... well... Not so graphically inclined as it could be. Here's the first demo's MP3s.

Well it seems that Greg has come up with a far better site, and also has managed to get them an actual .com , something I tried to to once but just couldn't get organized due to lack of parts etc.
Its been great, especially all the time I've spent re-installing Windows in the middle of the night just to make one little change to the site :-)
I'd like to redirect you all to The new official Five Minute Ride website.
Just remember it takes a while for those of us on slower connections to load.

The band released the Demo CD a few days ago. You might want to bother Josh or any of the others to get you one if you want one. If anyone uses Kazaa or WinMX or Morpheus, tell Josh to make you meet me someday so I can get you the MP3s.

fmr has a show on friday Oct. 11th at the Shingle Springs community center with Quarter to twelve, Cadence, roshambo, and we are headlining. So please tell evryone you know.Show starts at 7:00pm.

Hey all, this is Nate. FMR needs YOU! to provide a list of any old computer parts you have, inlcuding specs (size of hard drive, speed of CPU, whatever) for the NEW FMR webserver. Yes, that's right, FMR will be trying to assemble its own webserver, and soon you'll be going not to fiveminuteride.8k.com, but rather fiveminuteride.com!

Alright, FMR has a show August 30th at the Pizza Factory in Placerville, next to the Starbucks, along with RoShamBo and Quarter to Twelve or something like that. It starts at 7:30 PM. Be there!

of the old one. Hope the band is okay with this... This is a day
late though, and incomplete at best...
